Cumulus 27 perfect for the daily long walker!
Another great pair of ASICS for daily 5 mile walks! Numerous pairs of this brand I splurged and got this version of the Cumulus. Very nice and comfy. Light and supportive. Over time I’ll need to add various pads to support worn areas but each pair lasts me about 10 months of daily long walks. Love this shoe! Compared to my previous – purple and navy – pair, the laces are much improved shorter and stay securely tied without a double knot. The tongue is perfect for evening out the pressure. Expensive but are the perfect walking shoe! Color is less obnoxious than previous versions. Sole is durable, inner padding is good for now, are not slippery. Top mesh is expected to wear over time but I prefer the lightness for comfort and air flow.

Superb Comfort for Foot Issues!
This shoe is amazing! I have plantar faciitis and have heel pain so have been on the hunt for a comfortable walking shoe. I have researched almost every model and have recently purchased the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 24, Hoka Bondi 9, Topo Atmos and New Balance 1080 all highly recommended. They are all good but each one has something that just doesn’t work for me. As a last resort I purchased the Asics Gel Cumulus 27 and bingo…the magic shoe for me! I’m usually a size 10 but got the 10.5 to allow for socks. The shoes are like walking on clouds for hours and hours. My heel pain is not noticeable and there is no breaking in. The moment I slipped into these I found heaven! I’m not a runner but walk daily and am in my 70’s. I’ve bought two colors now and this is my favorite shoe without question. I can highly recommend them for quality, comfort and looks, too!

Comfort and cushion
I’ve worn the Cumulus for a few years. I usually wore a 10, but did have to return them for a 9.5, which work perfectly. Yes, the tongue has been changed, but I actually like it and find it to be more comfortable. If you’re not one to tie your shoes and just like slipping them on, you probably won’t like it. They were a little stiff at first. Wasn’t sure if I’d like them, but after about a week of gradual breaking in, they are keepers!! My feet and back are happier.

Lightweight, durable, and excellent shoe
These are some of the best workout shoes I’ve purchased in a while. I personally use them for walking and gym workouts versus running, but they are super lightweight and extremely comfortable. The quality is excellent and the gel tongue isn’t bulky like most are. I’ve repurchased several times in different colors. Highly recommend!

Extremely comfortable! I have been buying ASICS nimbus for years and have had great results. Columus are a bit less in cost but I have no complaints. Very light yet well cushioned. Also love the colour!
