Mixed results but terrible leaky bottle drains the serum!
Been using this bottle daily for about a month, twice a day (morning/night). The good – it does lighten melasma, the improvement is visible and I’m very happy about that! My pores (have large acne pores from teenage years and am now in my 40s) have somewhat improved but no significant improvement as I was hoping. The oil control also seems to work, though you do see a powdery film on your face after the serum has dried. I apply a tiny amount of moisturizer to balance out the dryness without deminishing oil control. Now onto the negatives – the bottle SUCKS!! The serum leaks out of the pump after every single use, then it dries around the edge of the pump leaving a white powdery layer of what I assume to be niacinamide. This wastes a lot of the serum, the bottle is about 80% used after just a month of daily use. You need to budget for a monthly replenishment if you want to keep using this serum. It is definitely not a hydrating serum but rather one that I saw mixed results in melasma, oil control, and shrinking pores. I also had some pimples pop up during the first two weeks of use, assuming that is the product trying to clear up my pores.
