Feels like I’m wearing a costume
I don’t know what it is, but I feel like Elvira when I wear this dress. It fits great and looks somewhat sexy and somewhat modest, but it just doesn’t feel like me. Maybe it’s just not my style and that’s the problem. But the dress is a thick material which is nice. It kind of rides up and doesn’t lie flat in front, but it’s not too bad.

Beautiful Dress For Taller Trimmer Women
I’d like to start by saying this is a beautiful dress. The cut overall is very nice and the lace embellishments are very pretty. For this reason, I did rate four out of five stars. I want to say this dress is not a good fit for our short queens out there. I was excited when I saw the length of the dress as I cannot wear a maxi dress or other longer dresses due to my height. The length did wind up working very well, but the sleeves not so much. I wouldn’t deduct from the rating for that, however, as that’s a risk us shorties sometimes have to take when ordering long sleeve anything.I deducted one star for the following reasons:1.) While the lace embellishment on the legs is hemmed inside the dress, the lace embellishments on the sleeves are hemmed on the outside of the dress. I’m very confused by this decision as I feel hemming inside the dress is the much smarter option. Hemming the lace of the arms of the dress on the outside, I believe, leaves these parts of the lace more vulnerable to unnecessary wear and tear.2.) Though the lace is lovely and looks great, I feel like the cut on the leg should have been made slightly different. At the top of the lace, on the highest part of the thigh, there are larger keyholes. It would make more sense to me to have the tighter lace netting on the largest part of the thigh where the most pull on the fabric will occur.3.) You will want to size up. I sized up as I knew this dress would be very form fitting. With a mommy pouch, wider hips, and larger breasts, this curve hugging dress clings to everything. So, if you’re more self conscious, be prepared to wear something under it or don’t get it. While the dress did easily fit on me, it wouldn’t have if I had not sized up.* I do have shapewear on in these photos as I didn’t want to risk tearing the lace on the thigh so the full lace detail on the leg isn’t visible in the pictures of me wearing it.

Pretty, flattering, and comfortable to wear
I really ended up loving this dress. It has such a pretty mix of elegant and fun when you see it in person. The lace detail along the sleeve and the side slit looks delicate and gives the whole dress a softer, more elevated feel. The fit surprised me in the best way because it hugs in the right places without feeling tight. I am 5’2 and about 155lbs, and the large fit comfortably with room to move. The fabric feels smooth, stretchy, and comfortable, and to me it has a quality that looks much more expensive once it is on. The square neckline also gives it a flattering shape that photographs well.
