I finally learned that good brushes really do make a difference
I have been wearing makeup for decades, and I always used affordable brushes. I never believed expensive brushes were worth it. I kept thinking brushes are just brushes and that the makeup product itself is what really matters. I never wanted to spend thirty or forty dollars on one brush when I could buy a whole set for that price.Then I tried one Laura Geller brush with the same powder foundation I have used for years and I saw an immediate difference. My makeup looked smoother and blended better, and that completely changed my mind about brush quality.Because of that, I picked up this Brush Vault set during the Black Friday sale. 10 brushes in one gold case. I was still a little skeptical, but once I opened it, I could tell right away the quality was on another level. The bristles are extremely soft, everything blends easily, and none of them shed. I’m a (retired) dual state licensed Esthetician and I am very impressed with the quality of this product. I wish the Brush Vault’s material was made of a more flexible fabric, but I bought it for the brushes and the quality rivals the professional quality of my Brushes purchased in Esthetics School at Elizabeth Grady in Medford, MA!(As with every Brush, cleaning them in an appropriate manner is important. We used just a drop of baby shampoo in cold water years ago.) I have started to use them, so it will be awhile before I’ll need to wash them but I do love the quality of these synthetic brushes, and would buy them again!
